Whilst Christmas is a magical time, it can be a challenging and isolating time for many people.

We are proud to launch Sovini’s Big Community Christmas which will support over 10,000 beneficiaries, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to celebrate this festive season.

As part of the Group’s Discover our Purpose campaign which launched last month, we strive to create a better future for our customers, colleagues and the communities we serve.

Here’s some of the projects we’re supporting that will make a difference this Christmas:

Christmas pallets

Thousands of families, individuals, and older people across the Liverpool City Region will be receiving vital support thanks to a food, care, and toy package initiative this Christmas.

The initiative is set to help almost 3,500 beneficiaries across the region, with funding from Group partners One Vision Housing, Pine Court Housing Association and Sovini Construction and local electrical wholesaler Service Electrical Distributors.

Gingerbread Project

The Kindfulness Coffee Club’s Adopt a Gingerbread project supports local Sefton children who are vulnerable and at risk of not having any gifts for Christmas.

Squashie Play Project and Café Thursday

Children’s playgroup with cooking classes for vulnerable families. Café Thursday also serves as a warm hub with an arts club for the community and a memory café for those living with Alzheimer’s and dementia.

Mission Christmas

In addition, we are proudly sponsoring this year’s Cash for Kids’ Mission Christmas, ensuring every child wakes up to a present under the tree this Christmas.

Cash for Kids aim to improve the lives of disadvantaged children and young people in our communities who are affected by poverty, illness, neglect or have additional needs, raising £20.4 million across the UK in 2022, supporting 489,409 children.

A big thank you to our Group and strategic partners for making this possible.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
