As an equal opportunities employer, The Sovini Group is dedicated to championing equality, diversity and inclusion. Our policies and procedures reflect this commitment, as we strive to embed inclusivity into every aspect of our workplace culture.

In line with this commitment, on Tuesday 12th November, we celebrated diversity by hosting a ‘Diversi-tea’ party at our agile co-working space, The Hub. This event provided an opportunity to delve into the experiences of neurodiverse, disabled and underrepresented individuals.

We were privileged to be joined by experts from the ADHD Foundation, with a lived experience talk that shared their insights into living with ADHD, the diagnosis process and workplace accommodations. Additionally, an interactive sight loss experience shed light on the challenges faced by those living with various eye conditions, from diabetic retinopathy to cataracts.

Our very own Katie Joynson from One Vision Housing, hosted an introductory sign language lesson, whilst a variety of gadgets offered a glimpse into tools that can support focus and productivity for those with ADHD.

Beyond the activities, the event provided a space for connection, celebration and deeper understanding. With complimentary pizzas, goody bags and a raffle, the day was filled with insightful topics that boosted employee engagement.

We’re delighted to have the opportunity to host these events, as they are crucial for breaking down barriers and fostering an equal, inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive, no matter their background.
