Amy Roberts, Office Manager at Sovini Waste Solutions

After only 6 months, Amy was offered the Office Manager role on a maternity cover basis.

“At first I was a little concerned being new to the industry, but with the amazing support of my line manager Tony Beckett, I am thriving and so is business!”

Amy hasn’t looked back since. She was recently promoted to the full-time Office Manager position at Sovini Waste Solutions and is nearing the end of completing her WAMITAB qualification. “I am so proud of myself.” she said.

The role of the office manager means “you wear a lot of different hats depending on the day” according to Amy. She ensures the office is running smoothly, dealing with any issues on or off site, scheduling, invoicing, and working closely with the operations manager. “The list is never ending!” she laughs.

Amy is also passionate about the wellbeing of the team. Being part of The Groups ‘Good Vibe Tribe’ which focuses on the health and happiness of employees, ensures she has a platform to voice feedback and ideas on behalf of her team, in order to support colleagues.
