As Women in Construction Week 2024 kickstarts, our award-winning Group shares a recent 2023/24 report which reveals a mean gender pay gap of -3.5% in favour of women.
Throughout 2023/24, the Group implemented a wide range of initiatives for employees to thrive in their chosen industries, as we continue our mission to create opportunities and change lives.
Initiatives for 2024 include an innovative Pathway into Construction, which provides an exclusive insight for young females considering a career in the industry.
Furthermore, in 2023, the Group’s Chief Business Officer, Anita Spencer (formerly Harrison-Carroll), reached the Top 100 Most Influential Women in Construction list. Anita was recognised and celebrated for fearlessly breaking down barriers in a traditionally male-dominated industry and shaping the future of construction.

The gender pay gap is the percentage difference between average hourly earnings for men and women, and measures salary difference, the UK’s gender pay stands at 7.7% in favour of men.
