One Vision Housing, a proud member of The Sovini Group, released 149 much-needed affordable homes at their Morris Meadows development in Netherton, creating a vibrant new community.
Recognised as the ‘Best Affordable Scheme’ at the prestigious Your Move Liverpool Awards, Morris Meadows stands as a testament to the Group’s commitment to quality and community development.
Injecting new life into the Netherton community, the development boasts an impressive mixture of properties that have enabled families to stay in their local area, and first-time buyers to achieve their dream of homeownership. With a mix of 58 affordable rent apartments, 64 rent-to-buy homes and 27 shared ownership properties, the community caters to a wide range of housing needs.

Through successful collaboration between One Vision Housing, Sovini Construction and the wider Group commercial supply chain, Morris Meadows transformed a brownfield site into a thriving residential hub. With a grant of over £5.8M, Homes England played a crucial role in making this vision a reality.
Working in collaboration with Condy Lofthouse Architects, the development was constructed using a ‘fabric-first’ approach, focusing on the reduction of energy consumption through thermal efficiency and running costs.
Incorporating environmentally efficient fixtures, including toilets, taps, showers and light fittings, supplied by the Group’s local independent building merchant Sovini Trade Supplies, the homes contribute to the Group’s ambitious net-zero carbon goals.
