On Thursday 12th February, we proudly hosted our inaugural charity gala at the Titanic Hotel, bringing together leaders, influential businesses and partners from across the North West to make a positive, lasting impact.

Sponsored by Hybrid Tec, the evening was hosted in support of crucial Merseyside charities: Woodlands Hospice and Liverpool Zoe’s Place, in addition to the Metro Mayor’s Charity of Choice, Haircuts4Homeless.

These organisations provide vital care and compassion to families and individuals across the region, supporting them through some of the most difficult periods of their lives.

Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of attendees, sponsors and volunteers, we’re delighted to announce we surpassed fundraising expectations. The event successfully raised a total of £61,000, ensuring these charities can continue to deliver their essential work within the community.

Guests were treated to an extravagant evening of entertainment, from the moment the doors opened. With stilt walkers welcoming guests, a breathtaking aerialist show and The Mac Bros providing a soundtrack of live music to keep the dancefloor full, there was never a dull moment. Celebrated local comedian, Willie Miller, maintained a vibrant, comedic atmosphere throughout the evening.

Beyond the entertainment, the fundraising efforts included interactive activities, from virtual boat racing and golden envelopes to a competitive charity auction. A highlight of the evening was the raffle giveaway, featuring a stunning diamond necklace, generously provided by Wongs Jewellers.

Reflecting on the success of the evening, CEO of The Sovini Group Roy Williams said:

“We are incredibly proud of the collective effort that made this evening possible, and are so thankful to everyone who played a role in, attended or otherwise supported the event. The success of the Winter Gala reflects the strength of our partnerships and our shared commitment to delivering meaningful positive impact across our communities.”
