From first tee to final putt, our annual Golf Day was a testament to the power of community as 72 golfers from across the housing and commercial sector united to raise vital funds for Sovini Charities.
The fairways of Childwall Golf Club saw a day of friendly competition, camaraderie and fantastic entertainment, with local comedian Willie Miller injecting his wicked humour into the evening raffle and auction.
Along with 15 sponsors, the guests collectively raised £16,000 for Sovini Charities, supporting them in their mission of creating opportunities and changing lives across our communities.
“Our annual Golf Day brings together clients, suppliers and friends to contribute to the good causes that we support. We are committed to making a difference every year for our communities, and Sovini Charities is a vital part of our mission.” – Group CEO, Dr. Roy Williams

Sovini Charities believes in the transformative impact of philanthropy, supporting charities and organisations by fostering meaningful partnerships to create lasting change.
From local grassroots organisations to national initiatives, we support a wide range of charities, organisations and initiatives that make a difference. Whether it be providing funding, resources or guidance, we build a better future for those who need it most.
“One of the main reasons we support this event year on year is because our core value is social value. We recognise the importance of giving back as there’s so many out there who are not in the position we’re in, and we work closely with The Sovini Group and Sovini Charities to help everyone we can.” – Marc Redfern, Managing Director at Service Electrical Distributors
