For over a decade, the annual Sovini Games have been a fundamental part of our vibrant company culture. Now in its eleventh consecutive year, this highly anticipated event provides a fantastic opportunity for teams across the Group to come together for a week packed with challenges, teamwork and a splash of friendly rivalry.
This year’s event is no different, bringing a Shoreline Showdown our colleagues will never forget.
Inspired by the grit, energy and rich maritime heritage that defines the city of Liverpool, the 2026 games will comprise of a week of immersive nautical-themed challenges carefully designed to test a diverse range of strengths while prioritising employee wellbeing. These include:
- The Nautical Showdown: A high energy physical team challenge designed to test endurance and competitive spirit.
- The Crazy Scouse House Experience: A fast-paced gameshow challenge, requiring quick thinking and steady nerves to stay afloat
- The Anchor Drop: Not for the faint of heart, our challengers will take on a breathtaking 100ft descent down Anfield Stadium
- Sailors Scramble: A citywide scavenger hunt packed with clues, culture and rapid problem-solving.
The week of exhilarating challenges will culminate in a vibrant finale celebration on Merseyside’s iconic waters. Colleagues will board the legendary Daffodil for an evening of recognition and reward, where the winner of the coveted Sovini Games crown will be named.
