At an event hosted by One Vision Housing, member of The Sovini Group, hundreds of families from across the Liverpool City Region came together to celebrate Christmas at the Brunswick Youth and Community Centre.
Thanks to support from Asda in the Community, Sefton Fostering and Brunswick Youth and Community Centre, lovingly known by locals as “The Brunny”, over 120 families celebrated Christmas with a trip to Santa’s grotto, jolly entertainment from 0151 Entertainments, crafts and treats.
Award-winning social landlord, One Vision Housing, is committed to creating a better future for its communities and over December have supported thousands of local people through its Community Development Fund.
The fund has seen the housing association:
- Partner with Veterans in Sefton to provide over 40 veterans and their families with a homemade Christmas dinner.
- Suppor the Kindfulness Coffee Club’s Gingerbread Project to ensure over 170 local children have presents to open on Christmas day.
- Host a Festive Family Fun Day at Brunswick Youth and Community Centre for over 100 customers.
- Help Netherton Park Neighbourhood Centre’s food pantry and afternoon of festive fun.
- Ensure thousands of families, individuals, and older people across the Liverpool City Region received vital support through its food, care, and toy package initiative with partners from across The Sovini Group and local law firm, Weightmans.
Alongside helping customers via its support teams, the housing association has also partnered with Julie Lawson, Liverpool Football Club, the Joseph Lappin Centre and the Sefton Mayor’s Toy Appeal to provide food and toy hampers directly to its customers.
One Vision Housing is part of The Sovini Group, which recently received an accolade for its innovative approach to responsible business across social and Governance practices from the Liverpool Chamber of Commerce.
