Our commitment to the communities we serve goes far beyond our day-to-day operations, and our charitable partnerships are a key driver in our social value delivery.
Our ongoing partnership with Woodlands Hospice is designed not just to raise essential funds, but to actively promote their life-changing work and provide hands-on, voluntary support for their fantastic initiatives.
Recently we took that commitment to new heights, with a team of five fearless Group colleagues undertaking the Anfield Abseil.
The challenge saw adrenaline-seeking participants climb to the top of the Main Stand roof, one of the largest all-seater single stands in European football, then step over the top edge to descend 100ft down the side of the stadium.

It was a true test of nerve, but our fundraisers were driven by a powerful shared purpose. Thanks to their unshakeable courage, our colleagues have raised an incredible £2,085 and counting. Every penny of this will deliver direct, meaningful impact, including:
- Providing patients with the best possible quality of life
- Helping people to live as long, and as comfortably as they can
- Guiding and supporting their loved ones through bereavement
Embracing our collaborative spirit, four additional colleagues from across the Group volunteered their time at the event. From providing vital logistical support to capturing the highlights of the day, they ensured everything ran seamlessly.

This is the true nature of our partnership. Whether we’re volunteering on the ground or fundraising independently, we’re immensely proud to help Woodlands Hospice in any way we can.
