On Friday 1st May, the red carpet was rolled out as the Group hosted our first-ever in-person internal awards ceremony, ‘A Better Future Awards’ 2026.

The afternoon recognised the incredible achievements, unwavering dedication and innovative efforts of the teams and employees that make the Group such a fantastic place to work.

The event, hosted at the iconic Titanic Hotel, celebrated those who consistently go above and beyond in delivering complex projects, boosting colleague morale and championing inclusivity across the Group.

Colleagues were given the opportunity to nominate their peers, resulting in an overwhelming number of inspiring submissions.

Throughout the event, several incredible projects and initiatives were brought into the spotlight. The highly coveted ‘Project of the Year’ award was taken home by the team behind the Awaab’s Law rollout. They were recognised for their exceptional dedication and proactive approach to tackling complex compliance requirements head-on, ensuring that customer wellbeing and safety remained at the absolute forefront of the Group’s operations.

Additionally, The Good Vibe Tribe was crowned ‘Sovini Squad of the Year’ for their vital work in championing health and wellbeing. Meanwhile, Christina Forshaw, Learning and Development Manager, was named Inclusion Advocate for creating a genuinely safe, welcoming space for learning and development.

A massive congratulations is also in order for our Special Recognition Award winners: Chloe Ellison, the Responsive Repairs Scheduling team, the Central Support and IT teams, Erin Dyer, the Windows & Doors team, Andy Keouski, Steven Scott, Tracy Lin, and Jennifer McDermott.
