The Sovini Group named UK’s best place to work for women

The Sovini Group has been named the UK’s best workplace for women for the second consecutive year.

The Group ranked ahead of global organisations including Adobe and SC Johnson Ltd to achieve the accolade.

Great Place to Work UK recognised the way The Sovini Group nurtures and develops female employees across the organisation as a stand out characteristic.

Mariana Skirmuntt, Head of Research at Great Place to Work UK, said: “Teamwork and support for each other runs through this organisation and commitment to equality and diversity is clear and measurable.”

Roy Williams, CEO of The Sovini Group, said: “We are delighted to be named the country’s best large workplace for women and we want to continue to improve as a great place to work for all, encouraging more talented women into construction and other traditionally male-dominated roles. We want to be the most welcoming organisation in the country, where people are judged solely on their ability to do the job.”

The Sovini Group continues to buck the national trend on gender pay. The Group’s gender pay gap is currently -4.91% in favour of female employees, compared to the national average 9.6% in favour of male employees.

The Sovini Group was recently named within the top five organisations to work for in Europe for the second consecutive year.
