Pine Court embark on biggest new build development to date with backing of The Sovini Group

Pine Court Housing Association will swell their property portfolio by 10% with the addition of a new £6m affordable rent development in Wirral.

Livingstone Park, which lies close to the Cammell Laird 1907 Football Club stadium, will comprise 15 new two and three bed houses and 34 one and two bedroom apartments, providing more affordable homes across the region.

The scheme marks another major milestone for Pine Court Housing Association, who have enjoyed the financial capacity to grow and enhance their service offer since joining The Sovini Group.

Livingstone Park follows the completion of Pine Court’s Pheonix Mews development in Liverpool in 2016.

Cllr George Davies, Wirral Council’s Cabinet member for Housing and Community Safety, said:  “I was delighted to visit the Livingstone Park site and see the progress being made on this exciting new development, which will offer good quality, attractive and affordable social housing for rent in Rock Ferry.”

David Brown, Pine Court’s Director of Operations, said: “The Livingstone Park development has witnessed excellent collaborative working between Pine Court Housing Association and The Sovini Group to acquire the land and utilise in-house expertise to oversee the progress of the development. Additionally, we are working closely with contractors and the council to ensure high quality homes are delivered safely and on time.”

Wirral-based MBE Construction have been appointed as contractors for the development.
