G31A7172Gill Harris – Personal Assistant

“The variety of the role keeps it interesting as each week has a different focus dependent on the Directors’ current priorities. The perks of working for Sovini have to be the on-site gym and Bistro and the regular Health & Well-being activities the company puts on. However, mostly I enjoy working for the group because of the positive vibe in the office and the fact that the people are genuinely nice – something you don’t find in every workplace.”

Matthew Richardson

Matthew Richardson – Performance Assistant

“I began working in the Performance & Customer Insight team in March 2011. I was keen to come and work for Sovini – then One Vision Housing – based on its reputation as a top employer. At the time, the company had just come fifth in the Sunday Times Best Places to Work Awards, and when I came for my interview it was clear that there was a positive atmosphere and pride in the organisation from the staff I spoke with.”

G31A2199Michael Bennion -Finance Assistant

“What I have found to be different her to places I have worked before is that my colleagues are always willing to dedicate some of their time to my progression. My aim is to become a chartered accountant and I’m confident that I will be able to achieve that whilst working here.”

Paul Kirkham (6)

Paul Kirkham – Health & Safety Officer

“I enjoy getting to site as much as possible in order to improve working practices and raise general awareness of key H&S issues affecting operational staff. I enjoy delivering training and engaging with all staff on matters relating to H&S. I’m hoping to get authorisation for my next level of qualification in order to continue with my professional development. In time, this should lead to me gaining Chartered Membership of IOSH.”

Peter Davies

Peter Davies – Customer Intelligence Team Leader

“Sovini has an excellent performance management system which means that every member of staff has regular contact with their line manager. This means that while we’re empowered to work using our own initiative, our line manager is always available for guidance. I’ve obtained a professional qualification, and receive regular on the job training. I can request courses that would be beneficial to both myself and the organisation.

Steven Scott (7)

Steven Scott – HR Business Partner

“For over 10 years I’ve worked in a variety of industries, commercial and public. Sovini are the first organisation I’ve worked for that have proactively encouraged me to seek professional qualifications and challenge myself. It’s a great source of support knowing your employer wants you to succeed, bettering yourself and the organisation. For the future, who knows, but I do know my future is brighter having made the right choice by joining Sovini.”
